کامپوزیت یکی دیگر از مواد ها برای پر کردن دندان است که رنگ سفید دارد برای پر کردن دندان های جلویی که بیشتر دیده می شوند استفاده می کنند. کامپوزیت نسبت به آمالگام مقاومت ندارد و نازک تر است.
2. سرامیک
سرامیک یکی از بهترین روش ها برای پر کردن دندان های جلویی است که هزینه بالاتری نسبت به دیگر مواد ها دارد رنگ آن کاملا سفید است و می تواند دندان های شما را مثل قبل نشان دهد. البته طول عمر آن 5 سال است و از آمالگام مقاومت کمتری دارد.

ماندگاری پر کردن دندان
ماندگاری دندان پر شده به موادی که برای پر کردن استفاده کرده اید و عوامل دیگری مثل رعایت کردن بهداشت و دید ابزاری نداشتن نسبت به دندان برای شکستن هسته ها بستگی دارد. همان طور که در بالا هم ذکر شد آمالگام بیشتری ماندگاری و طول عمر را دارد.

1. ماده پر شده از بین می رود
این اتفاق در طولانی مدت و گزشت زمان اتفاق می افتد. هنگامی که ماده پر شده دندان از بین برود دوباره عصب دندان هشدار می دهد و دندان درد می گیرد.
2. ماده پر شده ترک می خورد
این مورد را خیلی نمی توان فهمید مگر در صورتی که مواد پر شده از طلا باشد و ترک آن مشخص باشد. البته در برخی موارد دندان به سرما و گرما حساسیت پیدا می کند که به ترمیم احتیاج دارد.
3. پخش شدن ماده در دهان
هر نوع ماده ای برای پر کردن به جز طلا می تواند در دهان پخش شود. برخی مواقع هنگام غذا خوردن و یا نوشیدن این موادد را زیر زبانتان حس می کنید که بهتر است در اسرع وقت به پزشک مراجعه کنید.
به طور کلی بیشترین ماندگاری مواد پر شده دندان برای طلا است که بین 15 تا 30 سال ماندگاری دارد. سپس بیشترین ماندگاری برای آمالگام است که بعد از 10 الی 15 سال به ترمیم یا تعویض احتیاج دارد. کمترین ماندگاری هم برای رزین های سرامیک و کامپوزیت است که 5 تا 7 سال ماندگاری دارد.
